Hiro Kataoka, President and CEO
Hiro has established himself in the technology business on both sides of the Pacific in his 20 year career. In 1991, Hiro founded Dimatech Corporation, to provide semiconductor, software, and embedded system solutions for the digital imaging market. The company was acquired by NetSilicon, Inc. in 2001 where Hiro served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Aaron Kurland, VP Engineering and CTO
Aaron started programming at the age of 13, started his first software company at 16, and has not stopped since. Almost 25 years after his first "start up", Aaron brings to Boston Circuits a wealth of knowledge and experience in hardware and software technology, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit that is the hallmark of his technical leadership. Aaron's extensive industry experience includes NetSilicon, where he was Vice President of Engineering, and senior engineering positions at Digi International and LaserMaster.
Richard Stabile, Director of Business Development Richard brings to BCI a track record of success in sales, marketing, and business development. After earning a BSEE from the New York Institute of Technology, Richard started his career at Unisys and later joined Canon USA. Richard went on to serve at NetSilicon, Inc. where he was responsible for creating and executing the business plan for NetSilicon's network imaging ASIC's.
Makoto "Ume" Umemura, Managing Director, Boston Circuits Asia
Ume is responsible for BCI's operations in Asia including sales, marketing, support, and supply. He has proven his ability to create new business with Tier 1 companies in Japan and Asia during his career with NetSilicon Japan, Peerless Systems, and Nippon Motorola where he was the product manager responsible for launching the embedded PowerPC business.
