Excellence in Innovation
About Us
Boston Circuits, Inc. is a fabless microprocessor company focused on providing complete multi-core processor solutions for the embedded multimedia market. BCI was established in 2005 by a team of industry professionals who recognized the need for a new direction in embedded processors. Our mission is to liberate embedded processing from the confines of custom hardware, proprietary platforms, and desktop hand me downs. By delivering a truly scalable, standards based platform, BCI will drive the evolution of embedded processing for the coming decade and beyond.
The BCI team is experienced in both technical and business disciplines, is internationally diverse, and is on a mission to succeed. We have a team of hardware and software engineers in our Woburn, MA headquarters, and have opened our first overseas location in Yokohama, Japan (BCI Asia KK).
Our culture is based on innovation and quality execution. We believe that innovation can be applied to everything we do, not just technology. An example of this philosophy is our use of the latest product development methodologies. We employ Virtual System Prototyping (VSP) techniques in developing our chips, allowing our engineers to verify and optimize key algorithms and architectural attributes of the gCORE chips on a software simulator before any circuits are laid down. This results in faster design times, lower development costs, and higher quality.
We believe that high quality in every aspect of our business is critical to our success and the success of our customers, partners, and team members. We set high goals, and take measured steps to clear each one. The focus on quality helps make each one of us better at what we do.
Most importantly, we believe in serving the customer. The customer's success is our success, and our success is the success of our people, our partners, and investors.
Design and develop complex hardware systems in Verilog, individually and as a member of a team. Debug those systems in Verilog simulators. Transfer those systems for use in FPGAs. Work with fabs to see system throughout all phases of back-end development.
Applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Elect Engineering plus 5 years of experience".
